Any orders placed using or through this website are subject to these terms and conditions. Use of this site for unlawful purposes or for purposes other than those for which it is clearly intended, is strictly forbidden.
1. Terms and conditions of sale
- Delivery charges cover carriage, carriage packaging costs and insurance.
- We operate a weekday 24 hour service to most parts of mainland U. K. for orders placed before Noon Monday to Thursday. See delivery page.
- Saturday deliveries, if asked for, carry a surcharge.
- Orders received after Noon Thursday and during the day on Friday will normally be delivered on the following Monday (unless Saturday has been requested). See delivery page.
- We cannot guarantee deliveries if the reasons for delay are beyond our control.For example very bad weather, snow and ice etc.
Please provide an alternative point for delivery in addition to the main address in case the recipient is out (eg neighbour, garage). If an alternative point has not been nominated, the courier, may his discretion, “leave the parcel safe”. The courier will leave a card giving the location of the parcel, or if the parcel cannot be left safe, a contact to arrange for a second attempt. If the parcel is not left, the delivery charge allows for two further weekday attempts. Any additional attempt beyond that, or a redirection, is chargeable.
We cannot be held responsible for (a) non-delivery if the address details are incorrect. The proper postcode is important. Or (b) the condition of the parcel and its contents if the recipient is not in to receive and sign for the parcel.
We do not deliver outside the UK
Non Availability and Substitution
In respect of goods from the on-line shop. If we have a stock out for a particular item, we will post a notice to the effect on the web-site.
In respect of hampers. In the event of non-availability or short supply we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal value and quality. You are within your rights to decline any such substituted items. In that event you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the goods and either we will arrange to collect them from your address or ask you to send them back to us. You will receive a refund of the value of any such goods returned to us, unopened, together with the return delivery costs, within 30 days of our receipt of the goods
Return and Exchange of Damaged Goods
Our policy is to supply goods to our customers in perfect condition and we make every effort to do so. Should goods be damaged in transit or found to be defective on arrival, you must notify us immediately and notify us in writing within 7 days. Such goods must be returned for inspection. We will either arrange to collect them from your nominated address or ask you to send them back to us. On receipt, and within 30 days, and providing the complaint is found to be valid, we will either replace such goods or make a refund of the value of such goods together with your return delivery costs.
If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of the goods and return the goods to us. You will then receive a refund within 30 days of our receipt of the goods in good condition. We will not be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us following cancellation. Refunds do not extend to any perishable items or to items that have been unsealed or unwrapped.
VAT and Duties
These are included at current statutory levels. Should they change, we may have to alter our prices.
Prices and Payment
We reserve the right to adjust our prices and specifications of any item on the Website at our discretion.
Unless specifically agreed, payment for goods, including delivery charges (if any), must be made with order and prior to despatch.
