Post Christmas

Christmas has now past but still our watch-words are – quality, service and flexibility. We are now looking towards Valentines

A big thank you to all our customers old and new for their Christmas orders, very much appreciated.

We seem to be following the national tend, our shop sales are falling but our orders on the web site are going up, unfortunately shops are becoming much more expensive to run. I have had our shop now for 32 years and have seen many chages.

From our family run delicatessen in Stow on the Wold, in the Cotswolds, we sell high quality, up-market, fine food hampers throughout the year, The hamper side of our business has gradually increased over the years since we started creating and selling hampers over 20 years ago.

Hampers form ideal presents.   They are appreciated by family, friends, customers, employees because with careful choosing they provide those extra special delicacies.

Our hamper choice is wide.  From small hampers costing £30 to woppers of £500 and more.

BUT every customer is valued by us; every order is important to us and dealt with with equal diligence.  Our diligence is borne out by our record.  Of the many hampers made up on our premises  and then dispatched by carriers, there are problems with less than 0.05%.  Remarkable considering the complexities of the logistics of distributing so many hampers around the UK at that time of year.  And if there is a problem, we are on to it straight away and do not rest until it is put right.

A significant proportion of our  orders is derived from repeat business.  That we hope is down to the quality and speciality nature of the foods that we sell both through the shop and put into our hampers; to the reasonably priced wines; to helpful and efficient service; and to long experience.  We try to buy locally produced foods –  always providing that the quality meets our exacting standards.

Our fully illustrated brochure and web site list the standard, pre designed range of hampers – but we can make changes or create hampers to suit your particular wishes or submit ideas based on your price budget or as many now do, go into the “create your own section” and from the extensive list of foods there, make up your own.

There is a choice as to how the hampers are packed.  There is the traditional lidded wicker picnic baskets.  We also have specially designed gift boxes and just plain boxes.  All are illustrated on the site.  Costs inclusive of packaging are shown with each hamper and the choice is down to you except for the very big hamper whose weight needs the strong wicker baskets.

Our watch-words are – quality, service and flexibility.
